Alia defied her temptations and followed a strict diet. She
ensured that she eliminated all the junk and unhealthy foods from her diet. She
strictly abides by her diet chart designed for her by her nutrition expert. She
follows a low-carb and high-protein diet which includes a bountiful of nutrient
rich foods such as papaya, salad and oatmeal. She also makes it a point to
drink plenty of water throughout the day and take her vitamin supplements. She
goes for cheat meal ones a week but makes sure that she consumes everything in
moderation. Here is her diet plan: For her breakfast, she has a bowl of
cornflakes or poha with a vegetable or egg white sandwich. Her mid-morning menu
usually includes a glass of vegetable juice along with a fruit. For lunch, she
prefers eating dal, roti and some vegetable. In tea-time, she drinks a cup of
tea or coffee without sugar. Her dinner includes vegetables, rice, with a bowl
of dal or with a piece of chicken breast.
Alia bhat Exercise routine :
The actress worked out thrice a week in the gym with immense
focus on her cardio regimen as well as weight training to tone her muscles. She
did at least 3 sets of each of these with 15-20 reps in each set. Besides this,
Alia also practised other sports like kick-boxing, swimming, running, altitude
training, etc. After all, she had to lose 16 kg in a mere three months. But no
workout works without a proper diet and Alia had to give up eating many of her
favourites like French fries. She was put on a low-carb, high protein, fibrous
diet which included foods like yoghurt, oats, salads, fresh fruits; and
excluded junk food, refined flour and sugar. Her dedication and hard work
continue even after her drastic weight loss. In order to keep looking fit, the
actress follows the following routine. She does cardio every single day for
30-45 minutes. She is also a big fan of dancing and tries to explore different
forms whenever she can. She loves kathak and ballet. Alia also alternates
between altitude and weight training to make her body stronger, and practises
ashtanga yoga two days in a week. This helps her stay calm and also keeps her
skin glowing. Her healthy diet continues
the same way but now, she’s allowed one cheat day where she indulges in her
cravings such as noodles, diet soft drinks or the occasional burger with fries.
Mother of All selfies “Alia Bhat” :
India Super League's opening ceremony was a star studded
affair. Besides Aishwarya Rai and AR Rahman, actors Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor
also lit up the stage at the opening ceremony at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium
in Chennai on Sunday. With a host of celebrities from the world of sports and
entertainment in attendance, the 30-minute affair had the hordes of spectators
at the jam packed stadium in thrall. The ceremony began with hundreds of
children starting the countdown in a colourful manner, which was followed by
the unveiling of the flags of all eight ISL franchises. It was followed by a
cultural performance by a group of women dancers showcasing the rich heritage
of Tamil Nadu. Bollywood star Alia Bhatt then injected a dose of glitz and
glamour to the proceedings with a power-packed performance before veteran
actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan set the stage alight with her moves. After music
composer-singer A.R. Rahman put forward a stirring rendition of the national
anthem, Nita Ambani set the stage for the action to begin, formally declaring
the ISL open.
Alia bhat talks about her filmi career :
Since her debut in 2012, Alia Bhatt boasts of an enviable
career graph. As she gears up for the release of Shaandaar, Bhatt talks about
the choices she’s made, how Govinda’s films inspired her and that quiz that
changed her life. It’s hard not to like Alia Bhatt. At the Dharma Productions
office in Khar in Mumbai, she gently goes round in circles in her swivel chair,
fidgets with her laptop and drinks lemon tea from a sipper. As Bhatt turns and
chats about her career, one catches a glimpse of Shanaya, the designer
bag-toting spoiled teenager from Student of the Year (2012), Veera, the
almost-bride who is kidnapped in Highway (2014) and Ananya, the career-driven
IIM-A graduate in 2 States (2014). “It is very important to know what people
think of my movies, and if they can connect to my personality. Being myself is
the wisest decision I have made,” says the 22-year-old actor. “My whole being
and approach to work is shaped by Karan Johar. From him, I have learned that
people should love to work with you and you should give out warmth and energy
to them,” says Bhatt. The beauty pageant-like answer might sound like a
platitude but she genuinely means it. She’s charmed you, just like that — and
there’s very little you can do about it.
